Build is the custom-module service of Build Your Factory. On-site technical diagnosis, scoped pilot of the critical component built against acceptance criteria signed four-handed, rollout into production with your team. The diagnosis is free, the first invoice only goes out when the pilot meets the signed criteria — if it doesn't, we don't charge.
The method has six stages with five validation gates between them, each closed by a signed deliverable: diagnosis (scoped proposal + closed quote), definition (acceptance criteria signed four-handed), pilot (component running + validation report; if it fails the signed criteria, we don't go on and we don't charge), pre-production (calibrated solution + operational acceptance record signed by plant), production (system live + repo, secrets and docs handed to your IT), and annual maintenance (contract with SLA and hours bag).
Six roles in the project. On your side: industrial director (signs scope and acceptance, clears blockers), plant lead (brings operational detail, validates criteria), industrial IT (grants accesses, reviews code, receives handoff). On ours: technical lead (diagnosis, architecture, signs with your lead), module builder (codes the flow, integrates systems, iterates with the operator), validation agent (internal software that runs continuous regression against the signed criteria).
100% of code, data and documentation is yours. Module source delivered to your IT at handoff — you move it to whatever infrastructure you run internally (your repo, your orchestrator, your policies). Data on your infrastructure. Credentials rotated and handed over. No licenses tied to us. If you decide to internalize the module or take it to another provider later, you can.
What we don't build: overnight ETLs with no operations behind, generalist BI dashboards (Power BI and the rest already do that well), ERP/MES replacements (we work alongside what you have), pilots without measurable acceptance criteria. If what you ask falls in any of these, we say so on the first call and point you to who does it well.
